Hops Against Hunger October 1st - October 31st, 2019 For the entire month of October, we are asking breweries,
bottle shops and cideries to come together to raise money to support the Food
Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina to help make sure No One Goes

2019 Chef's Feast at Pine Needles Resort Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 | 6 PM - 8:30 PM | Pine Needles Resort, Southern Pines Our Chef’s Feast event will feature an upscale food and wine tasting event and showcase chefs from the Pine Needles Resort and local restaurants presenting their signature dishes along with an array of desserts. We will have live and silent auction items to bid on as well as a jazz band for your enjoyment.
2019 Chef's Feast at Wrightsville Manor & Gardens Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019 | 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM | Wrightsville Manor & Gardens, Wilmington This annual food tasting, with a seated main and final
course, benefits the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina at
Wilmington and features some of Wilmington’s most renowned chefs. This year’s
event will feature chefs who supported the World Central Kitchen post-Hurricane
Florence which fed thousands of hot meals to people who had nowhere else to
turn. Beyond delicious food, guests are able to participate in a live auction,
listen to live music by the Folkstone
String Band, and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Wrightsville Manor.

Medicare Part D Prescription Assistance Day Friday, November 8, 2019 | 9 AM – 3 PM | Craven Community College Business & Information Technology Building, Rooms 106, 107, 108 Volunteers will be on hand to assist Craven County Medicare beneficiaries who want to find the most affordable plan. Make an appointment by calling the Food Bank at 910-973-6129. Please bring prescription drug information and Medicare card to your appointment.

Food Lion Feeds Hunger Relief Day at the NC State Fair Thursday, October 24th, 2019 Bring 6 cans of Food Lion brand food to the N.C. State Fair on Thursday, October 24, and exchange them at any gate for 1 free admission ticket. Learn More

Lowes Foods Friends Feeding Friends October 30th, 2019 - January 7th, 2020 Lowes Foods Friends Feeding Friends program is one of the largest food drives in the Carolinas and has provided more than 16 million meals to date. You can purchase pre-packaged donation bags of non-perishable Lowes Foods items, donate non-perishable food items to their in-store donation bins, or provide cash donations at the register. The Great American Milk Drive That gallon of milk you consider a staple in your refrigerator is missing from the homes of many folks in our service area that are food insecure. In partnership with Feeding America, The Great American Milk Drive makes it easy to give a gallon of nutrient-rich milk to the Food Bank with just a click of your mouse! Move For Hunger The Food Bank is delighted to partner with Move For Hunger - an organization that offers to pickup unwanted, non-perishable food items during the moving process and deliver them to local food banks. Simply use one of the moving partners in our area and they will provide a box for food items. You can pack it or use their professional moving staff. Move For Hunger will make arrangements for the items to be delivered to our locations. Read more about Move For Hunger or find a local mover who gives back.
