Linda Hubbard had an unwavering commitment to helping people in need, and believed that one person can change the lives of many. In 2005, Linda founded BackPack Pals with a vision to address the needs of children who often didn’t have enough to eat over the weekend. Through Linda’s leadership, the program grew from one school serving 25 students to working with more than 1,100 children in all Moore County schools. We are proud to honor Linda’s memory and commitment to the children in Moore County through continuing her efforts to make sure no child has to worry about their next meal.
